The Essential Plan is Capital Parent’s entry-level solution for small businesses that want to offer meaningful parental leave support while keeping costs manageable and operations simple. Supporting up to two eligible employees per year, this plan includes financial top-ups, full payroll handling, and employee engagement resources — making it easy to retain staff and demonstrate care during leave.

Included in the Essential Plan:

  • Full PAYE payroll management, including payslips, tax, National Insurance, and HMRC reporting

  • £400 per employee per month for 3 months in top-up pay

  • A return-to-work protection clause with integrated clawback tracking and recovery

  • Dedicated onboarding call to ensure smooth setup and compliance (Employer Only)
